Community Wellbeing & Safety Strategy (CWSS) and Municipal Housing Strategy (MHS) - Strategic Revision

The City of Lethbridge is completing an updated needs assessment and strategic revision in support of the Community Wellbeing & Safety Strategy (CWSS) and Municipal Housing Strategy (MHS). The project will provide updated data in support of the identified principles outlined in the MHS and CWSS and inform updated strategic goals. The purpose of this project is to ensure a real-time understanding of the current social ecosystem in Lethbridge to guide the municipal-led efforts of ensuring individual well-being and safety.

As of April 11 2024, Administration and Consultants have completed the final phase of engagement with community stakeholders and are incorporating feedback into a final draft. The CWSS and MHS Strategy updates will proceed to SPC and Council independently April-July 2024.
