    Additional Dog Parks Engagement Phase 2

    Thank you for completing this survey, your feedback will help us with future dog park planning.

     

    Background: The City of Lethbridge conducted Phase 1 of the Additional Dog Parks Engagement May 30-June 27, 2022.  In this public survey, we asked for feedback on the location and design of potential future dog parks. Six potential sites were identified: 20 Avenue South Greenstrip, Henderson Park (North East corner),28 Street North (between 7 Aveue North and 9 Avenue North), Kodiak Park North, Coalbanks Park West, and Nicholas Sheran Park (North West corner OR South East corner). All of the proposed concepts are fenced.


    Below is a map which shows the 6 proposed locations (indicated in red) with the five existing locations (indicated in blue).

    Lethbridge currently has five dog parks. 

    1. Scenic Drive Dog Run 30.22 hectares

    2. Popson Off-Leash Area 21.79 hectares

    3. Riverstone Dog Park 0.58 hectares (fenced)

    4. Peenaquim Off-Leash Area 14.76 hectares (fenced)

    5. Bark Park (under development) 3.27 hectares
