Consultation has concluded
The City of Lethbridge is planning improvements to Jock Palmer Park, located at 523 23 Street North.
This project involves the lifecycle replacement of the playground equipment and surfacing. The new playground will be inclusive, featuring accessible, rubber protecting surfacing to better accommodate users of all abilities. A new pathway will be constructed to connect the existing pathway on the west side of the park to the sidewalk on the southeast side. Finally, a concrete half basketball court will be built to further enhance recreation opportunities.
Construction is scheduled to be completed by the end of August 2025.
We asked the public to help us choose the colour scheme for the new playground. Residents voted at the January 29 Community Conversation as well as the survey below. The most voted colour was turquoise. Thank you to everyone who voted.
