Parks for the future: a renewed vision

On March 11, 2025, City Council adopted the 2024 Parks Master Plan. The document directs the planning and care of Lethbridge's parks for the next 15 to 20 years.

Project Background

The current Parks Master Plan is 15 years old. Lethbridge has changed significantly since 2007 and as a result, it is time to create a new plan that will serve our community’s needs now and into the future.

The Parks Master Plan is a strategic document that will guide the delivery of park and outdoor recreation land, amenities, and services for the next 15-20 years. Community input is a key component to ensuring the Plan aligns with residents’ needs and desires.
