Background

•This project will implement the first protected bicycle corridor within the Phase 1 priority bicycle network recommended Cycling Master Plan, adopted by Council on July 17, 2017.

•Cycling Corridors Functional Planning Study, adopted by Council on April 6, 2020 recommended short term cycling infrastructure along the 4 Avenue S and 7 Street S to connect the existing pathway and bike boulevard network to the Downtown.
