In 2019, the City of Lethbridge invested $2.6 million which has been leveraged to secure an additional $23 million in Provincial and Federal grant funding for a variety of critical infrastructure projects focused on increasing passenger traffic, revenue diversification through land development, fire safety, and more – all to position the airport for pandemic recovery and future growth.
Lethbridge Airport (YQL) serves its community as a connection to the rest of Canada and beyond! It is an important economic engine to our city, county, and province and as such it is important to understand how it can best meet the needs of the community.
