Shelley K’s Maple Fusion: Roving Public Art Song and Storytelling Wagon

Short musical and story-telling presentations interspersed with public engagement questions asking about what stories about Lethbridge could be shared through public art, and how public art could reflect the diverse cultures and histories of Lethbridge.

Studio B Collective: Pedals and Public Art followed by Patio, Postcards, and Pinot

•    July 4, 5:30-9:30 p.m. 

•    Location: Start at Confluence mural (1402 17 Street South), end at Casa (230 8 Street South)

Following a public art bike tour (bring your own bike!), participants will be invited to send a postcard to a stranger, a friend they haven’t met yet, or to themselves. These letters to Lethbridge will capture Lethbian thoughts and feelings about public art.

Daniel Perryman: Public Art Walk-and-Talk

•    Location: Festival Square 

Drop by for a casual walk-and-talk with Daniel J. Perryman aka PDANDJ, about the past, present, and future of public art and placemaking in Lethbridge, AB. This is your chance to contribute to the future of public art in our city by sharing your stories, insights, and ideas with Daniel during a leisurely one-on-one walk downtown - augmented for the time that you have/want to spend doing so!

Barnes Adevu: Interactive Public Art Booth

•    August 23 – 12-4 p.m. 

•    Location: Whoop-up Days Marketplace – Agri-food Hub and Trade Centre, DA Steel Buildings Hall, 101 Exhibition Way South

Check out a welcoming booth that invites community members to participate in a visual dialogue through art and conversation. Participants can write their thoughts and ideas in response to a set of curated questions. An interactive wall will be collectively built to visually represent our community's collective vision for public art. 


August 26 2025

Sandra Lamouche: Indigenous Social Dancing and Dialogue

•    August 26 – 6-8 p.m.

•    Location: Galt Gardens, in partnership with Foodie Fest

Local Blackfoot drummers will serenade the public and invite spectators to participate in casual social dancing. There will be an opportunity to offer input and feedback into the City of Lethbridge Public Art Master Plan project. Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
