The Youth Advisory Council and YouthfulCities Want Youth Input
In 2019, the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) and the City of Lethbridge is working with YouthfulCities to get Lethbridge on YouthfulCities’ 2019 Canadian Index. This is a nationally comparable urban index measuring 122 indicators across 21 youth infrastructure areas. When the index is complete, YAC and the City of Lethbridge will have access to valuable information regarding how Lethbridge ranks against other Canadian cities in areas like affordability, access to the arts and public spaces and support for entrepreneurship - areas which have been identified as key for the creation of a youth oriented city.
In order to collect some of the data YouthfulCities is seeking for the index, a Canadian Urban Issues Survey has been launched for a number of jurisdictions, including Lethbridge. In order to have access to the best data possible we are seeking as many respondents as possible between the ages of 15 and 29 to complete this short 5-10 minute online survey.
