  • CLOSED: This survey has concluded.

The City of Lethbridge is now in the final stages of completing a functional planning study of select corridors to establish a comprehensive framework for more vibrant, functional, safe, and complete streets in the area serving the hospital and nearby neighborhoods.

The following corridors are included in the functional plan and study:

    • 10 Avenue S from Scenic Drive S to 43 Street S
    • 9 Avenue S from 4 Street S to Mayor Magrath Drive S
    • 17 Street S from 9 Avenue S to 10 Avenue S
    • 19 Street S from 9 Avenue S to 10 Avenue S

We are excited to present high-level cross-section illustrations of how components of the corridors may be transformed to enhance multi-modal transportation for both residents and visitors, drawing from the valuable feedback gathered throughout the Project Visioning and early stages of the project. This survey invites you to share your ideas and provide input on how well these proposed ideas align with your values and interests.

Your participation in this survey will help us identify and prioritize the cross-sections to inform corridor options and suggest additional improvements.

Vision Statement: The 9 Avenue S and 10 Avenue S corridors will be welcoming, safe for all, and well integrated with the hospital accesses and operations. The corridors will include principles of healthy living, future adaptability, tree lined streets, and efficient management of all modes of travel while contributing to cohesive sense of place and environmental stewardship.
