A new bylaw to regulate animals in Lethbridge is on the horizon!

City Council has approved the Animal Care and Control Bylaw, also known as Bylaw 6475. Replacing three outdated bylaws, the new document streamlines animal regulations, making them easier to access. Public feedback helped shape the changes, including new rules for cats, a permit process for a potential urban hen program and a low-cost microchipping initiative.
